Still Getting Gouged At The Pump!!
WOW! Why are we STILL paying $1.21 per litre for gas here in the Metro Vancouver area?
With today’s crude oil price of $70.02 USD per barrel and the US dollar at $1.18 CAD, the price of regular unleaded gasoline in Vancouver should be $1.05 per litre at normal profit margins.
At a price of $1.21 per litre, you are paying 14.8¢ per litre in pure excess profit. Across Canada, an extra margin of 14.8¢ per litre generates an additional profit of 14.8 million dollars per day.
The media, Newspapers, TV, and Radio need to get the stories out! They need to put pressure on the gougers here in Vancouver! It’s their responsibility to inform the public so the average person who is oblivious to anything other than his/her coffee can wake up and do something about it.

I don’t understand how you guys are right next to Alberta and still pay so much for fuel. Over here in the capital region prices are hovering just under a buck a litre.
