Angel Pie - Japanese Cookie
These are one of my favorite cookies from Japan. Are they a cookie? They seem to be a cross between cookie and cake. There is marshmallow in the middle as well. It’s not too sweet, and that makes it extra nice.
The closest thing we have to it in North America are Wagon Wheels, but they are a bit too sweet. I can’t find Angel Pie anywhere in Vancouver, so I had this box given to me by a friend who had it shipped from Japan! Nice eh?

Neat! looks a bit like Whippets… (not sure if you have those on the west coast).

Whippets? Hmm.. I’m not familiar with those..
